Spotlight: Beaten 6.5l by Riggs when last seen at Wexford (3m1f, good); inc the conditional rider's claim there is now a 15lb turnaround in the weights; his effort at Wexford was his best to date over fences and he is getting better; he won a handicap hurdle at this track from a mark of 90 so there is a lot to like.

Spotlight: Hasn't been able to take advantage of a 15lb lower chase mark; has been running okay in chase starts without really looking like winning them; not a natural jumper of fences and others make more appeal.

Spotlight: Won a handicap chase at Downpatrick last month (2m7f, good); followed that up with another comfortable win eight days later from a mark of 102 at Wexford (3m1f, good); had a number of these in behind him on that occasion; has an 8lb rise to contend with but he is clearly thriving on good ground.

Spotlight: Riggs was 18.5l in front of him when they met last time; that effort was coming after a 160 day break and he has now been dropped 2lb; has C&D form due to his win here last November in a handicap chase (good); 8lb higher than that win

Spotlight: Good effort after a break last time at Limerick when finishing third (2m6f, good); hung right up the straight that day; last win over fences came last August at Kilbeggan from a 7lb lower mark; however entitled to improve from last run and could be thereabouts

Spotlight: Well beaten by Riggs at Wexford last month when behind the topweight by 9.5L; a better performance last time at Tramore when she battled back bravely after deploying her usual front running tactics to be beaten by just 1L; raised just 1lb and now has a decent pull at the weights with Riggs; hood is added for the first time

Spotlight: Some solid placed finishes in handicap chases this year but is a 20-race maiden; raised 9lb for .5L second of 16 in a handicap at Wexford but well beaten last time at Bangor (2m4f, soft); he appears to appreciate good ground but more is needed

Spotlight: In good form over hurdles this year, winning over 2m3f at Clonmel (soft) in February and placed at Leopardstown since; not a terrible debut over fences at Tramore last time when he was 7L down before unseating his rider at the second last; chance

Spotlight: Had blood in nostrils when pulled up at Clonmel in March; unseated early on at Tramore on most recent start; won a 3m Wexford handicap hurdle from a mark of 89 last August; others are preferred.

Spotlight: Returned from a break with a 7.25l fifth of 16 at Limerick last time (2m6f, good); that was his best effort for a long time and if he can improve again then he could have each-way possibilities.

Spotlight: Likely needs softer ground to be at his best; sole win came on heavy ground over hurdles at this track in January last year; took a tired fall last time at Wexford over fences (2m3f, yielding); runs off the same mark here and unlikely to get his ground.

Spotlight: 1-13 over fences; 3lb higher than last win which came at this track one year ago; a very close second in a handicap at Down Royal in January (3m, good-yielding); pulled up on two of his last three runs; he is capable if he is on a going day.

Spotlight: Unable to win a race in 23 starts; returned from over a year break when finishing in midfield in a Cork handicap hurdle last month (2m4f, good); ran to a similar level when beaten 18.5L 12 days later in a Limerick handicap chase; his best form has come on soft ground so others are preferred.

Spotlight: Set some stiff tasks on three chase starts; the pick of his form over hurdles was a 1.5L third at Naas in Janaury 2024; makes handicap chase debut here and could go well in a first time hood if the market vibes speak in his favour;

Spotlight: Dropped 1lb for 26L thrashing from Riggs on his return from a break last time; 2-31 over fences; runs from a 9lb lower chase mark and but the veteran of the field hasn't shown as if he is capable of exploiting it based on his past couple of runs.

Spotlight: Hasn't won a race since November 2023 although she is a three time winner hurdles; runs from 10lb lower mark than last win over hurdles for handicap chase debut but she has looked badly out of form for awhile.

Spotlight: Placed twice in good ground maiden hurdles last summer; recent handicap hurdle efforts do not inspire huge confidence; tries fences for the first time but would be a surprise to see him win.

Spotlight: Ran his best race for some time at Down Royal in a handicap chase in April when finishing third (3m2f, good); didn't back that up at Downpatrick last time when ninth of 11 and 30L behind Riggs; retains same mark from that day and hard to see him improving enough.
